Block distracting websites during your Focus Mode sessions. LifeOPS Focus Blocker helps you stay on track by blocking distracting websites during focus sessions. Add the sites that break your concentration, such as social media, video streaming, or news websites, then turn on Focus Mode. When Focus Mode is active, attempts to visit blocked sites are redirected to a simple “You’re in Focus Mode” page that reminds you to stay on task. How it works: Add domains you want to block, such as youtube.com, reddit.com, or twitter.com, through the extension popup. Turn Focus Mode on when you are ready to work. While it is active, matching sites are redirected before they load. Turn Focus Mode off when your session is over to browse normally again. Your blocked site list is saved locally so you only need to set it up once. Privacy and permissions: This extension uses Chrome’s declarativeNetRequest API to redirect blocked sites to an internal extension page. It does not read, inspect, or collect the content of web pages. It does not transmit browsing data, analytics, or personal information to any external server. All data, including your blocked site list and focus state, is stored locally in your browser. This extension requests broad host access only so it can block any domain you choose. That access is used solely to apply blocking rules to the sites you add.
