Sanala turns the YouTube videos you already choose into focused Finnish practice. **Watch with context** - Show the available caption and a translated line together. - Choose Finnish, English, or Russian for either line. - Keep the overlay close to the video instead of switching between tabs. **Keep useful words** - Click a word in the caption overlay for a quick learning card. - Save useful words to your Sanala vocabulary. - Connect the same pseudonymous Study sync key in the extension and Sanala app. - See only videos where you used Sanala captions or saved a word. Sanala does not import your complete watch history. **Listen when it helps** - Optionally speak translated lines with a device voice or Google text-to-speech. - Original YouTube audio stays under your control; voice playback is off by default. Basic dual subtitles work without creating a Sanala account. Caption availability and translation quality depend on the video and language.
