Scan Facebook Marketplace for listings that match your RareAlert saved searches. RareAlert Marketplace Scanner connects Facebook Marketplace to your RareAlert saved searches. When you start a scan, or enable an optional automatic scan interval, the extension uses your existing signed-in Facebook session to visit Facebook Marketplace search results and listing detail pages. It reads visible Marketplace listing information such as titles, prices, images, listing URLs, visible location text, and listing details, and securely sends that Marketplace listing information to rarealert.io so RareAlert can compare it with your saved searches and show matching listings in your dashboard. The extension does not receive or transmit your Facebook password or Facebook cookies. It does not collect Facebook messages, profile content, or general Facebook browsing content. Scanning is limited to the Marketplace feature. Automatic scanning is optional. Chrome must be running and the user must remain signed in to Facebook for scheduled scans to work. Facebook Marketplace transactions can have different protections depending on how the transaction is completed. Verify the item, seller, and payment method before purchasing.
