ClipTune turns the audio from short videos you come across into a proper playlist — one you can shuffle, loop, reorder and keep playing while you work. HOW IT WORKS Open a video. Press the Save audio button in the corner, or hit Alt+Shift+S. The audio lands in your library. Open the playlist and it plays like any music app you already know. No server. No analytics. No tracking of any kind. Your playlist lives in your browser's own local database and never leaves your computer. The only network request this extension ever makes is fetching a clip you explicitly asked it to save. LIGHT ON DATA Only the audio matters, so the smallest available version of a clip is fetched rather than the full-resolution video — a fraction of the download. BEFORE YOU INSTALL This is a personal listening tool for clips you can already watch while signed in. It does not unlock private content and it is not a bulk downloader. Audio in short videos is usually licensed music — keep what you save to yourself. Requires Chrome 116 or newer.
