Browser companion for the SayDeploy VS Code extension — securely bridges cloud dashboards to your local dev environment. SayDeploy Companion is the browser-side counterpart to the SayDeploy VS Code extension. It bridges your cloud provider dashboards to your local development environment, eliminating manual copy-paste when setting up service connections. How it works: When you start a connection flow from VS Code, the companion opens the relevant provider dashboard in your browser. It assists with navigating to the right settings page, generating tokens or API keys, and securely capturing the credentials you create — then delivers them directly to your local SayDeploy session over localhost. The extension only activates on the specific dashboard pages listed in its permissions. It does not run on unrelated websites or collect any data outside of an active connection flow you initiate. Key behaviors: Automates user-initiated credential setup flows on supported cloud dashboards Captures only the credentials you generate during an active connection session Sends data exclusively to your local machine over localhost — nothing is sent to external servers Stores temporary session state only for the duration of the active connection flow Requires the SayDeploy VS Code extension to function
