Preview, verify, and export web articles locally. CaptureProof turns web articles into clean, editable Markdown while keeping the workflow local and reviewable. KEY FEATURES • Capture the current public HTTP or HTTPS article after clicking the extension • Extract the title, author, publication date, source URL, and article content • Preview and edit metadata and Markdown before exporting • Copy Markdown or download it as a .md file • Capture selected text when you only need part of an article • Detect unusually short content, missing fields, and possible image or table conversion issues • Export JSON, use advanced content checks, and maintain local export history with CaptureProof Pro • Use the interface in English or Simplified Chinese PRIVACY BY DESIGN Captured article content is processed locally and temporarily in Chrome extension session storage. CaptureProof has no cloud synchronization, analytics SDK, or advertising SDK, and it does not automatically upload captured content. Language preferences, license information, and up to 50 history records without article bodies are stored locally in the current browser. LIMITATIONS Paywalls, login restrictions, anti-bot checks, dynamically loaded content, complex tables, interactive components, and some images may not convert completely.
