Transform webpages with alien text, photo, video, atmosphere, and opt-in audio effects. Alienize remaps visible page text into a playful alien language while preserving punctuation, whitespace, and case patterns. It uses deterministic local mapping so the same source word stays consistent across pages, tabs, and browser sessions. Alienize also gives large photo-like website images a local alien visual treatment using CSS filters and bundled overlay textures. It skips small UI graphics, logos, icons, code blocks, inputs, and editable fields. Use the popup to enable or disable Alienize, translate the current tab, and translate between English and Alien. Use the options page to configure included or excluded domains and clear the local mapping cache. Alienize also includes an optional audio effect. After enabling Audio in Options, users can click "Start Alien Audio" in the popup to filter the current tab's sound locally using Web Audio. Audio is not recorded, stored, uploaded, or sent to any external service. All processing happens locally in your browser. Alienize does not upload page text or website images, does not run remote code, does not use external translation or AI image services, and does not sell personal information.
