Protection that travels with you — Bramble on the web. Bramble is a recovery tool for men working to break free from pornography. This extension brings Bramble's protection to Chrome, Edge, Brave, and ChromeOS — the same shield that runs on your iPhone. WHAT IT DOES • Blocks pornographic and high-risk sites before they load, using Bramble's continuously-updated blocklist (more than 1.7 million domains). • Filters images and video on the page. An image stays hidden until a machine-learning model bundled with the extension clears it — that model runs inside your browser. When it can't reach a confident verdict, the image's web address, or a few sampled frames of the video, goes to Bramble's own backend for a second opinion. The text of the page is never sent anywhere. • Steers you out of the algorithmic feeds. Instagram Explore and Reels, TikTok's For You, X's Explore, Reddit's r/all and r/popular, and Tumblr's Explore redirect to your followed or home view instead — those endless-scroll surfaces are where explicit content gets pushed at you. Setting your protection level to Permissive turns this off. • Enforces SafeSearch and blocks DNS-over-HTTPS resolver bypasses. • Replaces blocked pages with a moment to breathe and a doorway back to the Bramble app on your phone. BUILT FOR RECOVERY, NOT SURVEILLANCE Bramble pairs with the Bramble iOS app. You confirm the pairing from your own phone — no passwords typed into the extension, ever. Your Circle (the people walking with you) sees coverage status, never your browsing. Blocked-site signals are hashed on your device before they're used to improve protection for every Bramble user. If you remove the extension while it's paired, your browser sends Bramble one request carrying only this browser's credential — no browsing data — so Bramble can retire it and tell your Circle this screen is no longer covered. Bramble is free and your data is never sold; everything that does leave your browser is listed, line by line, in the privacy policy.
