Iris, Ada, Nora, Finn, Tess, and Rhea: private WCAG inspection tools, not a website accessibility overlay. GABAnode Utilities is a free, privacy-first accessibility inspection toolkit from GABAnode Lab. It places six focused WCAG 2.2 utilities beside the webpage you are evaluating. Meet the GABAnode utility family: Iris — Contrast and color Check foreground and background colors, calculate contrast ratios, evaluate text and non-text thresholds, sample screen colors, and find passing alternatives. Ada — Page structure Map headings and landmarks and identify missing main content, skipped heading levels, empty headings, duplicate headings, and unlabeled landmarks. Nora — Accessible names and roles Inspect computed accessible names, roles, descriptions, and naming sources. Find unnamed controls, missing image alternatives, duplicate names, and label-in-name conflicts. Finn — Keyboard focus order Review the rendered keyboard sequence and find positive tabindex values, hidden focusable content, and interactive controls that may not be keyboard reachable. Tess — Target size and spacing Measure interactive controls against the WCAG 2.2 target-size baseline and separate detected measurements from cases requiring human review. Rhea — Reflow and zoom Find horizontal overflow, clipped content, and fixed or sticky elements that may obstruct content at narrow widths or increased zoom. Inspect the live DOM Use Pick to select any rendered element without opening DevTools. Review its accessible name, role, description, keyboard behavior, dimensions, colors, attributes, warnings, ancestor path, and sanitized copyable HTML. Prioritize results quickly Every page inspection separates deterministic findings from items requiring human review. Counts on Ada, Nora, Finn, Tess, and Rhea show where investigation is needed. Export local evidence Copy JSON or download accessible HTML, CSV, and JSON reports containing page scope, timestamps, selectors, findings, review items, and clear limitation language. Privacy by design GABAnode Utilities requires no account and does not transmit page content, browsing activity, or accessibility results to GABAnode Lab. Inspection runs locally using temporary access to the current tab. The extension has no persistent website permissions, analytics, advertising, tracking, remote code, or cloud storage. GABAnode Utilities supports focused human accessibility evaluation. Automated and assisted tools cannot evaluate every accessibility requirement, and the extension does not certify WCAG conformance or legal compliance.
