Strips recipe sites down to just ingredients and steps Recipe Cleaner removes the life stories, popups, and clutter from recipe websites. When you click the extension, it detects the recipe on the page and shows you a clean, readable overlay with only the ingredients and steps. Features: One-click cleaning of recipe pages Shows ingredients as a simple list Shows step-by-step instructions Copy ingredients to clipboard button Close overlay and return to original page Works on: Sites that include structured recipe data (JSON-LD). This includes most popular recipe blogs like AllRecipes, Serious Eats, Simply Recipes, Hebbars Kitchen, and many others. Does not work on: Sites that do not include structured recipe data. If you encounter a site that fails, it likely doesn't follow the standard JSON-LD format. Privacy: Recipe Cleaner does not collect, store, or share any personal data. All processing happens locally in your browser. No ads, no trackers. Why I built this: I was tired of scrolling through 1,500-word life stories just to find out how to make dinner. So I built a simple tool to fix that.
