Prototype Chrome extension that classifies visible Handshake messages and drafts local rule-based replies. Long description Handshake Message Triage Assistant is a prototype Chrome extension that helps students review Handshake messages more efficiently. It scans visible message text in the browser, classifies messages using deterministic local rules, and suggests safe, timely reply drafts. The extension is designed to help users quickly spot: recruiter and internship outreach interview and scheduling requests alumni, networking, and career-services messages potentially risky or suspicious requests Key behavior: Runs locally in the browser Uses deterministic rules, not an external AI API Does not auto-send messages Supports Student and Recruiter modes Includes demo samples for quick testing Lets users insert or copy reply drafts This is intended as a prototype/demo tool for Chrome Web Store review and testing. Privacy note Message extraction and analysis run locally in the extension runtime. No external API key is used, and no message text is sent to third-party services.
