A Plasmo Chrome extension for blocking distracting sites during study sessions. Detailed Note Study Guard helps you stay focused while studying and capture research in one place. FOCUS SESSIONS • Start a timed study session from the extension popup • Block distracting sites you choose (YouTube, social media, etc.) • See a clear blocked page when you visit a blocked site during a session • Session ends automatically when the timer runs out SAVE TO DETAILED NOTE Link your Detailed Note account, then quickly save: • Full page text from any article • Selected text from a webpage • YouTube videos • Screenshots of any region on screen Use the keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+M (Option+Shift+M on Mac) or right-click on a page to add content. WHO IT'S FOR Students and learners using Detailed Note who want fewer distractions and a faster way to send web content into their notes. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension and link your Detailed Note account 2. Choose sites to block and set your session length 3. Start a focus session when you're ready to study 4. Save useful pages and clips to Detailed Note without leaving your browser PRIVACY Study Guard only reads page content when you explicitly choose to save something.
