Double-click or hover any word to see its meaning in your language. Look up words without leaving the page. Multilingual Dictionary shows translations in a small pop-up while you read. Double-click or hover a word — or search from the toolbar — and see what it means in your language. Meanings are chosen by statistical methods and can be wrong or incomplete. Treat the pop-up as a hint, not a guarantee. You can: 1) Double-click any word for a pop-up translation (can be turned off). 2) Hover any word for a pop-up translation (can be turned off; delay is adjustable). 3) Look up a word or short phrase from the toolbar. 4) Optionally save a local history of lookups and download it as CSV. Display languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, French, Korean, Arabic, Vietnamese, and Russian. This is a multilingual word lookup, not a traditional monolingual dictionary. It does not provide English-to-English dictionary entries. For same-language lookups, use Search the web from the pop-up. Notes: - After installing, reload open tabs (or restart Chrome) so the pop-up can run. - Chrome disables extensions on Chrome Web Store pages. Do not test here. - The pop-up needs selectable text. It does not work on images, Chrome’s PDF viewer, or Google Docs. History is optional and stored only on your computer. Lookups send the selected word and its surrounding sentence to our servers to return a translation. That text is not stored.
