Your whole Reading List, distilled to the time you have. Distill turns the articles piling up in your Chrome Reading List into one synthesis — sized to the time you actually have. Most reading tools assume you have five free minutes. Distill doesn't. Pick your window and it collapses everything you saved into a single brief that fits: • Headline (~10 seconds) — one line for the whole list. • Brief (~2 minutes) — the gist, in bullets. • Read (~10 minutes) — a structured long-form take, with sources. • Digest (~30 minutes) — the full map of your week: a concept atlas that clusters what you saved, cross-links the ideas, and reweights it all for what matters to you. How it works • Distill reads the URLs and titles already in your Chrome Reading List. • It extracts each article's text on your device — articles, plus PDFs, Word docs, EPUBs, Google Docs, Markdown, and more. • It sends that text to Distill's hosted backend, which generates the synthesis and streams it back. No API key to manage. Built to stay out of your way • Free, with daily caps. No account, no sign-in, no payment. • No ads, no trackers, no analytics vendors. We don't sell or share your data. • A short profile (role, stage, interests) — entirely optional — reweights each synthesis toward what you care about. It stays on your device except when it's included in a generation request. • Light and dark themes. Distill is part of the productivities.fyi suite. If it's useful, you can support its development on Ko-fi — entirely optional, nothing is gated behind it. Requires Chrome 120 or later (for the Reading List API).
