Description
Opens the buy dialog for a Steam Market listing via URL parameters. Searches adjacent pages if the listing isn't found. SMA Sniper automates buying on the Steam Community Market. HOW IT WORKS Open a Steam Market listing page with extra URL parameters — the extension automatically navigates to the specified page, finds the listing, and clicks the Buy button for you. URL format: https://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/{appid}/{item}?page={N}&listingid={ID}&count={n} Parameters: • page — page number where the listing is expected • listingid — the Steam listing ID to find and click • count — items per page (optional, default: 10) The extension will: 1. Navigate to the specified page 2. Search for the listing by its ID 3. Automatically click the Buy button when found If the listing is not on the target page, it also checks the pages immediately before and after (page-1 and page+1) to account for minor page shifts. A small status indicator appears in the bottom-right corner showing the current search progress: • "Searching page N..." – actively looking • "Found on page N in Xs!" – listing located and buy dialog opened • "Listing not found" – listing was not found on any of the checked pages OPTIONAL PARAMETER • count – number of listings per page (default: 10) PERMISSIONS This extension only runs on steamcommunity.com/market/listings/* pages and only when both "page" and "listingid" URL parameters are present. No data is collected or sent anywhere. USE CASE Designed for Steam traders who receive listing URLs from external tools or scripts and need to quickly act on a specific listing before it is purchased by someone else. SMART SEARCH If the listing isn't on the target page, the extension automatically checks page-1 and page+1 before giving up. A Steam-styled status indicator shows the current search state in the bottom-right corner. PRIVACY No data is collected or transmitted.
