Bring the coursework you can already see into Sorted. Sorted turns your syllabus into a semester you can actually see. This companion is how it reads Canvas. Your Canvas already knows your courses, your assignments, and when they are due. Getting that into anything else normally means an export, an .ics file, or typing it all out again. This reads the Canvas you are already signed in to, in a tab you already have open, and sends that coursework to your Sorted account. WHAT IT DOES - Reads your active courses, their assignments and due dates, and the grade breakdown Canvas holds. - Finds the syllabus your instructor uploaded as a file and brings it over, so you do not have to download it and upload it again. - Shows you everything it found and lets you choose which courses to import. Nothing arrives in your account without you picking it. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO - It never writes to Canvas. No submissions, no changes, nothing your instructor or your school can see. - It reads nothing until you press sync. It is not watching your browsing. - It reaches no site other than your school's Canvas and Sorted itself. WHY AN EXTENSION AT ALL Canvas will not let another app read your courses unless your school's IT department approves an integration first, which can take a semester if it happens at all. Your browser is already signed in and already allowed. So the reading happens here, on your machine, with your own session. That is why it asks for permission on the Canvas tab and nothing else.
