Guard Your Mind is a Manifest V3 extension that identifies 18+ subreddits, posts, search results, and sidebar modules the moment they load, then replaces them with a calming alternative so you stay focused on what you came to read. ### Key features - Instantly blanks NSFW subreddit feeds, home feed tiles, search results, and sidebar “Recent” or “Communities” lists. - Pick your blocking style: neutral placeholder, motivational quote, Bible verse, or full removal of the content card. - Toggle blocking on or off, decide whether to show the blocked counter, and switch styles directly from the popup. - Automatically remembers manually blocked subreddits and enforces an always-blocked domain list (e.g., redgifs.com) for extra coverage. - Keeps up with infinite scrolling and Shadow DOM updates without slowing your browser. ### Customization - The toolbar popup lets you enable/disable blocking instantly. - Choose how blocked cards appear: subtle placeholder, encouraging quote, Scripture verse, or nothing at all. - Optional session counter displays how many items were filtered so you know protection is active. - Manually add or remove subreddits from the block list when you want extra control. Preferences and lists are stored locally in Chrome storage. ### Getting started 1. Install the extension. 2. Browse Reddit as usual; mature content is replaced automatically. 3. Use the popup to change the blocking style or temporarily pause protection. 4.
