Clear Chrome's browser cache and hard-reload the current page with one click. Fresh Reload gives developers and power users the “Empty Cache and Hard Reload” workflow without opening DevTools. Click the toolbar icon and Fresh Reload will: - Clear Chrome's browser cache - Reload the active tab with cache bypassed - Show a brief success or error badge This is useful while developing websites, checking freshly deployed assets, troubleshooting stale CSS or JavaScript, and verifying changes behind a CDN. IMPORTANT: Chrome's extension API clears the cache for the entire browser profile. Only the active tab is hard-reloaded. Fresh Reload does not clear cookies, passwords, browsing history, downloads, form data, or saved logins. PRIVACY Fresh Reload does not read page content, collect browsing activity, or transmit data. It uses the browsingData permission only to clear Chrome's cache and activeTab only to reload the tab whose toolbar icon you clicked.
