Background about Pomodoro Timers: Pomodoro timers are based on a the pomodoro technique. The pomodoro technique breaks up periods of work intervals, typically 25 minutes or greater, followed by a 5 minute break. (Boogaard, 2023). This cycle is repeated a few times until the task or multiple tasks are completed. Generally, pomodoro timers are used to instill a sense of urgency and personal deadline for tasks.
