Leave cryptic messages upon the pages of the web, Ashen One. Fellow travelers shall find them. Soapstone lets you leave short messages on the pages of the web. Fellow travelers will find them. Highlight a snippet of text, or drag a box over an image, on a supported site. Then inscribe a note of up to 300 characters and choose its nature: - Hazard: warn of something misleading - Praise: commend something worthy - Guidance: offer a helpful hint - Lore: share context or hidden meaning Your inscription appears as a colored highlight for every Soapstone user who visits that page. HOW IT WORKS - Highlight up to 50 characters of text, or drag a box on an image - Write a note of up to 300 characters and pick its type - Vote messages up or down, and report the ones that do not belong - Share a link that leads straight to any single inscription - Messages are public and pseudonymous, and fade on their own after 4 to 7 days WHERE IT WORKS Soapstone awakens only on a curated list of supported sites: news outlets, forums such as Reddit and Stack Overflow, wikis like Wikipedia and Fandom, and social feeds including X (x.com), Truth Social, Tumblr, and Pinterest.
