May contain affiliate links. **PromoIQ is a free Chrome coupon extension for shoppers who want validated promo codes, price comparisons, and honest checkout results.** PromoIQ helps shoppers find promo codes, test checkout savings, and compare prices across supported retailers. It is built around a privacy-first model: no browsing-history sale, no payment-data collection, and no background shopping profile. During active coupon and price lookups, PromoIQ contacts PromoIQ Cloud Functions to return current code and comparison results. **What PromoIQ does** - Shows promo codes for the retailer you are shopping on - Helps apply or copy codes when you choose to test them at checkout - Shows honest code results, including when checkout is not eligible - Compares prices across supported retailers when a reliable product match exists - Labels affiliate-supported retailer links before you click **Privacy-first by design** PromoIQ does not collect your name, email, address, payment details, passwords, full browsing history, or data from non-retailer websites. PromoIQ may process current-page shopping information such as product names, prices, cart totals, promo fields, retailer domains, and page URLs only to support promo-code lookup, checkout help, and price comparison for the active shopping task. Limited active-page shopping fields may be sent to PromoIQ Cloud Functions for promo-code lookup, anonymous code-result confidence, and price-comparison responses; preferences, cached results, and savings stats remain in Chrome storage on your device. **Why the extension requests permissions** - activeTab: read the current page when you click PromoIQ - storage: save preferences and local savings stats - scripting: detect products, promo fields, and cart totals on supported shopping sites - tabs: open or focus offer tabs when you choose a result - notifications/alarms: support local cache refreshes and user-facing shopping alerts - host permissions: limit product, checkout, and price-comparison behavior to supported retailer and PromoIQ service domains **Affiliate disclosure** PromoIQ may earn affiliate commissions when you click a retailer offer and make a purchase.
