Description
Checks a selected file locally for its real type, suspicious extension mismatches, and known-malware hash matches. File Safety Check identifies a selected file’s actual format and compares it with its extension to spot suspicious disguises. It also checks the file’s SHA-256 against bundled known-malware signature filters. All checks run locally on your device. Files, hashes, and personal data are never uploaded or shared.
