Description
Type a short trigger, get the full text — in any text box. Private: snippets stay on your computer. No account. Stop typing the same things over and over. Snipkey turns short triggers into full text, right where you type. Type ;ty and it becomes "Thank you for reaching out! … Best regards," — in Gmail, Outlook on the web, help desks, CRMs, chat apps, forms and any other text box on the web. WHY SNIPKEY • No account, no sign-in, no cloud. Your snippets are stored in your browser, on your computer. • Works everywhere you type: plain fields, text areas and rich editors. • Instant: the trigger is replaced the moment you finish typing it. Ctrl+Z undoes it. • Pay once, not every month. FREE • 10 snippets • {cursor} — choose where the caret lands after expanding • {date} and {time} — today's date and the current time • Toolbar popup: search your snippets and copy any one in a click • On/off switch SNIPKEY PRO — 12 US$ once (no subscription) • Unlimited snippets • Fill-in fields: {input:Customer name} opens a small form, then types the answer in place • Date maths and formats: {date+7} for next week, {date:dddd D MMMM}, {time:HH:mm} • Backup: export all snippets to a file and import them on another computer GOOD FOR Support agents, recruiters, sales, freelancers, teachers, anyone who answers email. PRIVACY Snipkey reads only the few characters just before your caret, to spot a trigger. It never reads password fields, never sends what you type anywhere, and has no analytics. The only network call is to ExtensionPay, to check whether you bought Pro.
