A Chrome extension to send direct messages on YouTube. YouTube used to have a direct messaging feature. This extension brings it back. GitHub: https://github.com/sdwck/youtube-direct-messages YouTube Direct Messages restores the platform's classic private messaging functionality. It's a straightforward tool that lets you: - Send and receive private messages. - Create group chats to talk with multiple people at once. - Share videos directly with friends and groups. - Communicate without leaving the YouTube site. The design integrates seamlessly into the YouTube interface, automatically adapting to both light and dark themes. No frills, no complicated features — just the simple DM system that was removed, now with group chat support.
