Rewrite text and check spelling, grammar, and sentence clarity using your own AI provider API key. Wordforge helps you revise text in supported website writing fields. Select text and use the right-click menu to improve its wording, length, or tone. Review each result before inserting or copying it. Optional writing checks highlight spelling and grammar corrections in red and sentence improvements in blue. Hover or click an underline to review a suggestion. Browse the full list or accept multiple corrections together. Recognized search and selection fields are excluded from automatic checks. Use your own API key and choose a provider and model in Settings. Provider charges may apply; a chatbot subscription does not necessarily include API access. Rewrites and writing checks share your selected model. You can customize action instructions and view daily, weekly, and monthly request counts and reported token usage. Automatic checks are off by default. When enabled, they check changed sentences with nearby context after a typing pause. Faster sentence checks are optional and may use more requests. Check all reviews the current field. Your API key and usage totals stay in local browser storage. Writing is sent directly to your selected provider, whose data policies apply. The extension has no developer backend, advertising, analytics, or persistent writing history. Compatibility varies by editor. Browser internal pages, local files, embedded-frame editors, closed-shadow editors, and canvas-based document editors are not supported in this version.
