Shows estimated Google Maps rating including reviews removed due to defamation complaints in Germany. Some businesses in Germany use defamation law (*Verleumdungsklage*) to have negative Google reviews removed. Google Maps shows a small notice when this happens — e.g. *"51 to 100 reviews removed due to defamation complaints"* — but the displayed star rating doesn't reflect those missing reviews. **Hidden Rating makes the impact visible.** When you open a Google Maps listing that has the removal notice, the extension automatically calculates what the rating would look like if the removed reviews were included, and injects it directly below the displayed rating. **How it works** • Detects the defamation-removal notice on Google Maps • Reads the current rating and review count • Assumes removed reviews were 1★ (worst-case / most realistic estimate) • Shows an estimated true rating range inline on the page **Example** A restaurant shows 4.3★ across 610 reviews, with a notice that 51–100 reviews were removed. Hidden Rating shows: *~3.74 – 3.96★ estimated true rating* **Privacy** This extension runs entirely in your browser. It reads no personal data, makes no network requests, and stores nothing. No accounts, no tracking. **Notes** • Results are estimates — removed counts are shown as ranges, not exact numbers • Only activates on listings that have the removal notice • Tested on google.com/maps; works on maps.google.com as well
