Reads pages aloud, summarizes and translates them, and helps you write posts and replies on X. Smart Page Assistant is a multifunctional extension for productive web browsing. It helps you understand information faster and find answers more easily. Features 1. Reads aloud. Read the whole page, only selected text, or continue from the selected fragment. Reading controls are always close at hand: pause, stop, and speed are available right on the panel. 2. Creates page summaries. Get a quick understanding of the page context. The extension removes ads and clutter, then creates a summary in one of three formats: short, medium, or detailed. From any language to any language. 3. Translator. Translate the whole page or only the selected part. 4. Page assistant. Ask questions and get answers based on the text of the current page. 5. Bonus module for X / Twitter. The extension also adds a helper directly into Twitter. It can help you write for X: create a reply from scratch, rewrite your own draft in different words, correct grammar, and choose the tone. More about the extension Ways to use it: 1. Through the sidebar: read an article aloud, translate text, get a short summary, or ask questions about the page you are viewing. 2. Through the context menu on the page: start reading, translate, or create a summary. 3. In Twitter / X: use the assistant icon built into the reply field. Settings and control Add your own OpenRouter key and start with the free models already configured in the extension. If you need more powerful paid models later, you can add them yourself. A setup guide is included directly in the settings section. You can manage reading settings. You can also manage the Twitter assistant settings. AI and Privacy AI features use your own OpenRouter API key. The extension comes with free OpenRouter models configured automatically. Paid models are used only if you add them yourself. Page text is sent to OpenRouter only when you choose an AI action, such as summary, translation, page question, or writing assistance. Smart Page Assistant has no ads and no built-in analytics. Local Piper text-to-speech works without sending text to an AI model. User support helps the project keep improving.
