Capture room images from webpages and prepare them for AI image-to-2D floor plan conversion. Free Floor Plan Assistant helps users turn online visual references into a faster AI floor plan workflow. When you find a room photo, interior design image, 3D layout, real estate listing image, or renovation reference on a webpage, you can right-click the image and choose “Convert Image to 2D Floor Plan.” The extension opens a clean Chrome side panel where you can preview the selected image, copy its image URL, download it, save it to recent local history, or open the Free Floor Plan Image to 2D tool. You should install it if you often collect home design inspiration, compare property layouts, plan renovations, or need a simple way to prepare images for AI-assisted floor plan conversion. Instead of manually saving images, switching tabs, and searching for the right tool, this extension keeps the workflow focused: select an image, review it, and send it to the floor plan tool. The extension is privacy-conscious. It does not automatically upload images, does not log in to websites, and does not send your saved image history to a backend server. Page scanning only happens when you click “Scan Page,” and recent image references are stored locally in your browser.
