Group tabs by site, close duplicates, hibernate and search across every open tab. Ninja Tab Organizer brings order to browsers running hundreds or thousands of tabs — without sending anything to the internet. WHAT IT DOES • Group by site — collects tabs from the same domain (linkedin.com, youtube.com, x.com) into Chrome's native tab groups, already collapsed to cut visual noise. • Merge windows — optionally moves eligible tabs into one window, or spreads them evenly across a number of windows you choose, keeping each site whole. Sites with too few tabs go to an "Other" group. • Hibernate tabs — frees memory using Chrome's native discard, automatically preserving the active tab and any tab playing audio. • Close duplicates — detects repeated URLs (ignoring only the # fragment) and keeps the first occurrence of each. • Sort A-Z — reorders tabs alphabetically inside existing groups, without undoing your organization. • Instant search — find any tab by title, URL or site as you type. BUILT FOR VOLUME Every operation runs in batches with a progress bar, so 1,000+ tabs are processed without freezing the browser. COMFORTABLE TO USE • System, Light or Dark theme. • Filters for groupable sites, ungrouped sites and tabs playing audio. • Per-site actions: show all tabs, hibernate the group, collapse existing groups. • Open the extension in its own resizable window. • Keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+K opens the extension, "/" focuses search, "Esc" clears it. • Spread tabs across several windows instead of just one, with each site kept whole. • Undo: reopen tabs you just closed, or ungroup what was just grouped. • Tab counter on the toolbar icon. • Settings page: minimum tabs per group, number of windows, hibernation, tracking-parameter handling. • Interface in English and Portuguese, following your browser language. PRIVACY No data leaves your computer. The extension has no servers, no analytics, injects no scripts into pages and requests no site access permission. Only your settings are saved locally; the undo buffer lives in memory and is cleared when the browser closes.
