Description
Super Drag enables your browser to easily search and open links just using drag & drop. ════════════════════════════════════════════ SUPER DRAG 1.0 — the classic drag-to-search, rebuilt from zero ════════════════════════════════════════════ Select anything — text, a link, or an image — fling it toward a direction, and Super Drag turns the gesture into a search or an open. No menus, no copy-paste, no clicking. The classic super-drag experience, completely rebuilt for 2026 by its original author. ──────────────────────────── WHY YOU'LL LIKE IT ──────────────────────────── ✓ DRAG TO SEARCH — four directions, each with its own engine. Up for Google, down for YouTube, left for a dictionary — you decide the mapping. ✓ DRAG TO OPEN — links and images open directly. Hold Shift to bring the tab to the front; Esc cancels mid-gesture. ✓ 16 SEARCH ENGINES built in. ✓ POLITE BY DESIGN (Auto-Yield) — drop text into an input and it inserts natively; pages with their own drag-and-drop (uploads, kanban boards, editors) keep working untouched. Hold Ctrl/⌘ to take over anyway. ✓ LIVE DRAG HINT — a pill follows your cursor and names the engine before you drop. No blind gestures. ✓ TAB CONTROL — new tabs open in the background or the foreground, at the end of the tab strip — exactly as you configure. ✓ 54 LANGUAGES — fully translated in 9, graceful fallback everywhere else. ✓ LIGHT & DARK — a clean interface that follows your system theme. ✓ ZERO DATA COLLECTION — no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Ever. ──────────────────────────── WHAT'S NEW IN 1.0 — nine years in the making ──────────────────────────── ⚡ REBUILT FROM ZERO — a new engine classifies each drag once and never touches the DOM while you move: about 1/12th the per-event cost of the old version on heavy pages like YouTube. The long-standing drag lag is gone. 🛡 AUTO-YIELD — the polite-by-design engine that ends the whitelist era. 🎨 ALL-NEW SETTINGS — direction engines, custom engines, per-site engines, modifiers, live-hint and tab options — in light and dark. 🌐 54 LANGUAGES — with human-reviewed translations in 9 languages. 🐣 PRO (launch pricing) — 8-direction matrix (diagonals), unlimited custom engines, per-site engine profiles. Monthly $2.99 · Yearly $29.99 · Lifetime $49.99. The Early Bird has a 20% off only to first 200 paid users. Send me email for it! Activate in Options → Pro. Payments by Dodo Payments (merchant of record). Free is everything you need — every core feature above is free, forever. The 37,000+ users who kept Super Drag alive since 2017 keep everything. ──────────────────────────── FROM THE AUTHOR ──────────────────────────── If Super Drag earns a place on your toolbar, a rating or review is always appreciated.
