Slow, reverb and bass-boost audio on the web. Private, local processing with a sleepy cat included. Give music and videos a deeper, dreamier sound without uploading anything. Slowcat lets you change playback speed, add room-like reverb, boost bass and choose whether the original pitch is preserved. Start with the built-in Slowed or Nightcore presets, then save your own combinations for later. Highlights: - Works with HTML5 audio and video on YouTube, YouTube Music, SoundCloud, Bandcamp and many other sites. - Slows or speeds playback from 0.5x to 1.5x. - Adds locally generated stereo reverb and up to 12 dB of bass boost. - Includes simple presets and custom preset saving. - Keeps settings for each playing tab separate. - Processes audio locally in the browser. No analytics, ads or developer servers. - Detects DRM-protected services and leaves their audio untouched instead of muting it. How to use: 1. Start audio or video on a supported website. 2. Click Slowcat and choose a preset or adjust the controls. 3. If Chrome asks, click the page once so Web Audio can start. Some subscription streaming services use DRM that prevents browser audio effects. Slowcat reports those sites as unsupported and does not alter their playback.
