Replaces the Kick web player with a lightweight low-latency HLS player. Kick Advanced Player replaces the default Kick.com video player with a lightweight, low-latency HLS player focused on speed and control. FEATURES • Low latency streaming — pick your own latency target (Ultra low ~1.5s, Low ~2.5s, Normal ~5s, Smooth ~10s). The player gently speeds up playback to catch back up to the live edge instead of stalling or hard-seeking. • Smooth live scrubber — a seek bar that glides instead of jumping, with drag-to-seek, buffered indicator, and a hover tooltip showing how far behind live you'll land. Rewind the stream, then snap back with one click on LIVE. • Theater mode — the video expands over the whole page next to chat, just like you'd expect. Press T to toggle, Esc to exit. • Picture-in-picture — pop the stream out into a floating window with one click or the P key. • Manual quality selection — lock the stream to a specific resolution or leave it on Auto. • Stats for nerds — live latency, buffer, bitrate, bandwidth estimate, playback speed, and dropped frames. • Keyboard shortcuts — Space/K play-pause, M mute, F fullscreen, T theater, P picture-in-picture, L jump to live, arrow keys to seek and change volume. • Remembers your settings — volume, quality, and latency preset persist between streams. No account, no tracking, no external servers. The extension only runs on kick.com and talks directly to Kick's own stream servers. Not affiliated with Kick.com.
