Record your screen and share a link. Screen recording for people who ship. Slate records your screen, your voice and your face, and turns the take into a link the second you press stop. No editor to sit through, no export, nothing saved to your computer. You talk, you stop, you paste. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the Slate button and press Start recording. Pick a tab, a window or your whole screen. 2. A three second countdown, then you are recording. Your camera sits in a bubble in the corner, and you can drag it anywhere. 3. Press Stop, from the strip on the page, the toolbar, or with Alt+Shift+R. The video's page opens and the link is already on your clipboard. Send it. The upload runs while you record, so a twenty minute take is ready as fast as a twenty second one. Every recording gets a transcript and a title written for you, and the page shows every link you visited while you talked.
