Filter X and X Pro by post age, likes and content type, with photo mode and a customizable minimal reading interface. Make your X timeline easier to read. X Reader brings together filters for post age, likes and content type, photo mode, and a customizable minimal interface so you can focus on the content you want to see. KEY FEATURES • Post age: Choose how many days of posts to keep. The default is the past 7 days. Reposts are checked using the original post's date, and identifiable quoted content is also checked. • Minimum likes: Hide posts below your chosen like threshold. • Content types: Independently control reposts, quotes, videos/GIFs, text-only posts, polls, link cards and promoted content. • Filtering scope: Enable filtering separately for standard X timelines and X Pro columns. Post details and replies are excluded by default, with an option to include them. • Photo mode: Automatically switch profile media pages to the photo filter. Turn this feature on or off at any time; media choices explicitly set in the URL are preserved. • Minimal interface: Customize sidebars, navigation items and labels, timeline width, counters, fonts and focused writing mode. Appearance settings apply to standard X, not X Pro. • Quick controls and statistics: Adjust common settings and see filtering counts for the current page from the toolbar popup. Supported content can be filtered before it is displayed. ADAPT IT TO YOUR READING HABITS All enabled filters work together. If a post's date or like count cannot be determined, that criterion alone will not hide it. After relaxing filters, refresh X to retrieve previously excluded content. Changes to X may affect feature compatibility. The interface supports English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Japanese. It follows Chrome's display language and uses English for unsupported languages. DATA HANDLING AND OPTIONAL SERVICES Content filtering is processed in your browser. Settings are stored in Chrome extension storage and may sync through Chrome. The extension includes no developer telemetry or advertising tracking. The optional Typefully draft feature is off by default. Only after you enable it and click the draft button does it send the draft text and, when identifiable, the replied-to post URL to Typefully through URL parameters. It does not post automatically or transfer images. URLs containing drafts may remain in browser history or third-party records. Independently developed by paintcanfarm.
