See and block the audio streams websites don't want you to notice: silent keep-alives and audio fingerprinting. Some websites play sound you can't hear. A hidden audio stream can keep your speakers or Bluetooth headphones busy (breaking multipoint pairing), and "audio fingerprinting" renders sound off-screen and measures tiny differences in how your device produces it — building a tracking ID without any cookies. Browsers don't show you any of this, and tab-mute doesn't stop it. AudioFence puts a guard between websites and your audio device: • SEE — a simple panel shows every audio source on the current page, in plain language. No jargon required; technical details are one click away for the curious. • DETECT — seven signals spot the classic abuse patterns: silent streams held at zero volume, off-screen audio rendering, fingerprint readbacks, audio starting before you interact, and more. • BLOCK — flip on Protection and AudioFence automatically suspends hidden or fingerprinting audio before it plays.
