Edit images and text on any page. Click the icon to activate, then click any image or text to replace it. Edit any page in place — no reload, no persistence. Easy Edit turns the toolbar icon into a toggle. When it's on, every image and every text element on the page becomes clickable. Click an image to swap it for a URL. Click a paragraph to replace its HTML. Click the icon again (or press the badge) to turn it off. What it does • Replace any <img> with a new URL, or pick a built-in placeholder size. • Replace the inner HTML of any text element — paragraphs, headings, list items, links. • Built-in presets for both: 4 image dimensions (tall, wide, large square, small square) and 6 text templates (short, long, bullet list, numbered list, with link, bold/italic/underline). • Custom W×H input for image placeholders via the ph.soylenin.com/image?size= endpoint. • Custom HTML textarea for text — anything goes. How to use 1. Click the Easy Edit toolbar icon (or the pink "Easy Edit" badge in the bottom-right corner). 2. The badge disappears and a small "Easy Edit active" indicator appears top-right. Hover any image — it brightens with a pink drop-shadow. Hover any text — it gets a dashed blue outline. 3. Click what you want to edit. A dialog appears with presets and a custom-input field. 4. Pick a preset or enter your own value. The page updates immediately. The dialog closes. 5. Click the toolbar icon again to deactivate. All Easy Edit UI disappears. Important • All edits live in your current tab only. They are gone the moment you reload. Nothing is sent anywhere. • Works on every page (you'll see why in the permissions section). • This is a developer/design tool, not a content saver. Permissions, briefly The extension needs access to every URL so the content script can run there — that's the only way to let you edit "any page". It does not read, store, or transmit any page data. The toolbar button uses activeTab so it only injects into the tab you click from.
