Autofills job applications on Workday and Greenhouse, including experience, education, and legal disclosures. Fill out Workday and Greenhouse job applications in one click, using a profile you enter once and that never leaves your computer. Applying to jobs means typing the same information over and over: your name, your address, your last three employers, your degree, your graduation date. Workday: Better Autofill enters all of it for you, so you can spend your time on the parts of an application that actually matter. WHAT IT FILLS Personal details • First and last name, email, phone number • LinkedIn or portfolio URL • Street address, city, state, postal code, country Work experience • Company, job title, and location for each role • Start and end dates, including "I currently work here" • Role description Education • School, degree, and field of study • Start and end dates • Expected graduation month and year • GPA Skills and languages • Comma-separated skill lists • Primary language Application questions • Are you legally authorized to work in this country? • Will you now or in the future require sponsorship? • Are you 18 years of age or older? • Have you previously worked for this company? • How did you hear about us? Voluntary self-identification • Gender, race and ethnicity, veteran status, disability status • Optional master toggle that selects the "decline to self-identify" or "prefer not to answer" option on every disclosure question at once Resume • Stores your resume file and attaches it to the application's upload field SUPPORTED JOB BOARDS Workday (enabled by default) Works on any company careers site hosted on myworkdayjobs.com. Multi-page applications are handled as you go: the extension watches for new form sections and keeps filling as you click through each step. Greenhouse (optional, off until you turn it on) Supports both generations of Greenhouse boards - the classic boards.greenhouse.io forms and the newer job-boards.greenhouse.io React application - including forms that companies embed in their own careers pages. Greenhouse support is off by default and requests no permissions at install time. Turn it on under "Supported Portals" in the side panel and Chrome will ask for access to Greenhouse domains at that moment. Switch the toggle back off and access is revoked immediately. PRIVACY This extension has no backend. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server belonging to this extension for your data to be sent to. • Your profile is stored locally using Chrome's storage API • Nothing is uploaded, synced, or backed up by us • No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, no third-party services or SDKs • No external fonts, scripts, or stylesheets are loaded at runtime • Your data leaves the browser only when you click the autofill button, which types it into the job application in front of you - exactly as you would have typed it yourself Your self-identification answers (gender, race and ethnicity, veteran status, disability status) are entirely optional. Leave them blank and those questions are left untouched. They are stored locally like everything else and are used only to answer the corresponding voluntary questions when you ask the extension to fill a form. The extension can only run on the job board domains listed above. It has no access to any other website you visit. Delete everything at any time with the "Delete All Data" button in the side panel. Uninstalling the extension also removes all stored data. Full privacy policy: https://github.com/N2pium/Workday-Better-Autofill-GCE/blob/master/PRIVACY_POLICY.md HOW TO USE 1. Click the extension icon to open the side panel. Unlike a popup, the panel stays open while you work through the form. 2. Fill in your profile and click "Save Profile". You only do this once. 3. Open a job application on a supported board. 4. Click "AUTOFILL ACTIVE PAGE". 5. Review what was filled, correct anything the form does differently, and submit. Step 5 matters. Companies customise these forms heavily, and question wording varies from posting to posting. The extension matches fields by their labels and fills what it recognises. Always read the application over before you submit it. BACKUP AND RESTORE Export your profile to a JSON file and import it on another computer, or keep it as a backup before clearing your browser data. DESIGN NOTES A few deliberate choices worth knowing about: • When the extension is unsure, it leaves the field blank rather than guessing. A blank field costs you a few seconds; a wrong answer goes out on a real job application under your name. • Fields that already contain a value are never overwritten, so anything you typed yourself or a resume parser filled in stays as you left it. • Degree and GPA answers are mapped to whatever options the board actually offers - a "Bachelor of Science" becomes "Bachelors" or "Bachelors Degree" depending on the form. If a board offers no option matching your degree, the field is left for you. • Greenhouse permissions are requested only if you ask for Greenhouse support, not at install time. LIMITATIONS • Only Workday and Greenhouse are supported. Other job boards are not. • Heavily customized forms, or questions phrased in unusual ways, may not be recognized. The extension fills what it can and leaves the rest. • Some employers use screening questions specific to one posting. Those are yours to answer. • This is an autofill tool, not an auto-apply bot. It never submits an application for you. You review and submit every one yourself.
