Tracks local Claude Code token usage, costs, and weekly trends. Claude Code Usage Tracker helps you keep an eye on your Claude Code token usage and estimated spend, without leaving your browser. Key features: - 📊 This week so far — a live-updating hero view of your current week's estimated cost and token count - 📈 Daily & weekly trend charts — see usage patterns over the current week and the last two months - 💰 Multi-currency display — view costs in USD, EUR, GBP, INR, or JPY, with live exchange rates - 🔒 100% local — reads your Claude Code session logs directly from your ~/.claude folder on disk; nothing is uploaded anywhere How it works: On first use, you'll be asked to select your local ~/.claude folder. The extension reads the .jsonl session logs Claude Code already writes to your machine, and calculates estimated cost using Anthropic's public list prices × token counts (input, output, and cache read/write tokens). Your usage data never leaves your device. Privacy: This extension does not collect, transmit, or store any of your usage data on any server. The File System Access permission you grant is used solely to read log files locally in your browser. The only network request this extension makes is a request to frankfurter.app to fetch public currency exchange rates — no usage or personal data is included in that request. Note: Costs shown are estimates based on Anthropic's public list pricing, not your actual bill (e.g., if you're on Bedrock, Vertex, or another billing arrangement, actual costs may differ).
