Expand text shortcuts, insert reusable templates, and safely fill common web forms. QuickType is a text expander, reusable snippet manager, and smart form filler built for Chrome. Create frequently used replies, email templates, addresses, introductions, support messages, and other reusable text. Assign a shortcut such as ;thanks, then type it in a standard webpage text field and press Space or Tab to expand it instantly. Profile values are encrypted locally. When you choose to fill a form, QuickType asks for your PIN or password, decrypts the profile for that action, and fills matching fields. Website password fields are intentionally excluded. QuickType never submits a form automatically. PRIVACY QuickType has no advertising, analytics, account system, or developer-operated backend. Snippets, settings, and encrypted profile data remain in local Chrome storage. Your unlock PIN or password is not stored.
