Foodie Curve translates Google Maps restaurant ratings into your home city’s rating standard, so a 4.5 in a generous city and a 4.5 in a picky city mean different things. HOW TO USE 1. Install Foodie Curve. 2. Click the extension icon and pick your home city (or choose global average). You only do this once, it’s saved on your browser. 3. Open a restaurant on Google Maps. 4. Look for the Foodie Curve badge beside the place score. Hover it to see whether the curve is based on your home city or the global average.
