SnapRecall turns useful web text into private flashcards you can review with built-in spaced repetition. Highlight a sentence, definition, code note, or study fact on a webpage, then save it with the floating capture pill, right-click menu, keyboard shortcut, or popup. SnapRecall creates an editable front/back card, stores it locally in your browser, and brings it back when it is due. Privacy-first by design: • Study data stays in IndexedDB and chrome.storage.local • No accounts, analytics, ads, telemetry, or remote hosted code • Cards, decks, selections, and review logs are not sent to Gumroad • License verification sends only the Gumroad product ID, license key, and a verification request that does not consume a license use • JSON backups never include license credentials Legal choice: First launch presents SnapRecall’s product-specific Terms and Privacy Policy. If you accept, only a signed, privacy-minimal record of that choice is recorded through an Uncommon Weather page; card and study content are never included.
