A first-person architectural puzzle where apparent size becomes physical law. False Measure is a compact first-person architectural puzzle rendered in true WebGL 3D. You enter the Department of Impossible Standards carrying an instrument that can take the physical length of one exhibit and impose it on another. A harmless brass key can become wider than a doorway. A room-spanning obstruction can be reduced to a fraction of a metre. The museum accepts the result as long as it falls inside the calibration tolerance—even when the geometry is plainly impossible. The five-room Standard Sequence introduces a different dimensional requirement in every calibration. Aim at the fixed Standard, press Q to take its measurement, then aim at the movable specimen and press E to impose the held length. The instrument updates the specimen mesh and collision dimensions together. Once the target falls inside the stated tolerance, the black aperture opens and the next calibration becomes available. R restores the current room if you want to try again. False Measure uses perspective projection, rasterized triangle meshes, depth testing, directional lighting, distance fog, pointer-lock camera control, ray-to-box interaction tests, bounded collision, animated architecture, procedural material variation, synthesized interface tones, autosave, and campaign resume. It does not download models, textures, scripts, fonts, levels, or sound files. The visual language is intentionally architectural rather than asset-heavy: limestone volumes, oxidized copper standards, black apertures, calibrated markings, museum typography, and controlled pools of light. There are no generic dashboard panels, currencies, energy timers, advertisements, purchases, or artificial waiting mechanics.
