Rose Colored Glasses rewrites the headlines on your favorite news sites into happier versions, right on the page, while everything else stays exactly where it was. Click "Restore originals" any time and the real news comes back. No account. No API key. No setup. Install it, open a news site, watch the headlines flip. PICK YOUR FLAVOR Ten humor styles: Wholesome, Dry, Absurd, Dad jokes, Unhinged optimism, Beautiful feet enjoyer, Squirrel misadventures, Shakespearean, Infomercial pitchman, and Midwest nice. Then set the sarcasm slider: 0 is sincere sunshine, 10 is the full Onion. The popup's rose tint deepens as you slide. Flip on "Fully checked out" and facts become optional. Headlines rewrite automatically as you browse (you can turn that off), including new ones that load as you scroll. A counter on the icon shows how many headlines got happier on the current page. WORKS ON most popular US news sites such as AP News, Google News, CNN, NPR, and Reuters. Reading something else? Open the popup and click "Enable on this site" — it asks Chrome for permission for that one site only, and you can remove it any time from the options page.
