ContrastFlow is a smart dark and light mode extension with built-in WCAG contrast tools. Its single purpose is to improve website readability by transforming site colours and helping you inspect, measure and correct colour contrast. INTELLIGENT DARK AND LIGHT THEMES Turn bright websites into comfortable, layered dark themes, or turn dark websites into clean light themes. ContrastFlow maps semantic roles such as backgrounds, surfaces, text, links, borders, inputs and buttons, then validates the result. It does not use crude whole-page image inversion. Choose Off, Auto, Dark, Light, High Contrast or a custom website theme. Save per-site preferences or use included presets such as Midnight, Warm Night, Sepia Reading, Cool Light and High Contrast. WCAG CONTRAST CHECKER Scan the current page to see foreground/background ratios, visible elements analysed, WCAG AA and AAA results, large-text thresholds, UI contrast issues and items needing manual review. Contrast Health is a ContrastFlow product metric, not an official WCAG certification score. CONTRAST LOCK Change a background and ContrastFlow checks the related text. Change text and it checks the background. If the selected target fails, Contrast Lock finds the smallest practical correction in perceptual OKLCH colour space, preserving hue and colour character where possible. INSPECT AND FIX Select any element on the page to see its selector, foreground, resolved background, contrast ratio, AA/AAA status, font size and font weight. Preview an accessible suggestion, apply a local fix, undo it or copy the CSS. ContrastFlow has no backend, accounts, analytics, ads or tracking. It does not upload page text, DOM content, URLs, browsing history, colours, scans or preferences. Protected Chrome pages such as chrome:// URLs and the Chrome Web Store cannot be modified. Complex canvas graphics, cross-origin iframe contents, closed shadow roots and CSS-rendered charts may require manual review.
