AI Memory from Your Social Data Trace turns your social profile data into an AI memory — a structured, queryable snapshot that any AI agent can read. How it works: • Open your signed-in profile on LinkedIn or X, then click Capture. • Trace extracts structured fields: experience, education, skills, bio, following-based signals, and more. • Results are stored locally and shown in the popup and Settings. Why it matters: • Your AI assistant finally knows who you are — without you re-explaining yourself every time. • Agent-ready: get an API key from Settings and read your latest persona memory via GET /api/memory/latest. • Multi-platform today: LinkedIn and X. More sources coming. Optional backend sync: • When enabled, snapshots sync to the Trace backend over HTTPS (https://trace.xcrab.net). The backend URL is bundled in the extension and is not user-editable. • Server-side persona generation runs after ingest, not inside the extension. • Settings includes: API key issue/revoke, connection/API state reset, consent-gated LinkedIn auto refresh (max once every 24h), and copy-to-clipboard install sentence for agents. • API-key users can read latest persona memory through backend API endpoints such as GET /api/memory/latest. Single purpose: capture and maintain the user's own profile memory across LinkedIn and X, with optional backend persona generation and API-key memory access. No account. No passwords. Your trace, your memory.
