Save selected text as anchored bookmarks (Ctrl+I) to quickly revisit the exact marked content later. This extension is designed to solve a common frustration users face when interacting with chat-based applications: the need to scroll extensively to revisit important parts of a conversation. It allows users to effortlessly bookmark any piece of text they consider valuable or worth referencing later. With a simple keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+I), users can save selected text as a bookmark. Once bookmarked, the text is also highlighted in color to make it visually stand out. When users hover over the highlighted area, a tooltip appears, offering options to change the highlight color—allowing for easy categorization or prioritization of saved notes. All bookmarks are stored in a convenient popup window, and clicking on any bookmark will smoothly scroll the chat window to the exact location of the saved text, saving users from unnecessary scrolling. Additionally, the extension includes a Floating Action Button (FAB) that can be toggled on or off. When enabled, a small floating button appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen, providing quick access to all bookmarks—just like in the popup window. The bookmarks inside the FAB mirror the ones in the popup, including their colors. Any changes made to highlight colors are automatically synced across both interfaces, maintaining a consistent and intuitive user experience. Users can delete individual bookmarks or clear all bookmarks at once, giving them full control over their saved content. However, the bookmarks are not permanently stored—they will be cleared if the tab is refreshed or closed.
