RealTime Video Controls adds a quiet, consistent set of controls to videos across the web. Hover a video to reveal the controls, then keep watching without a toolbar in the way. WATCH AT YOUR PACE • Change playback speed with one click or the S and D keys. Hold to repeat. • Use quick steps: 0.25×, 0.5×, 1×, 1.5×, 2×, then whole-number speeds up to 20×. • Play, pause, skip back or forward, and drag the progress bar to seek. • Use picture-in-picture on supported players. • Save available video files you own or have permission to download. ONE SET OF CONTROLS Works with compatible HTML video players on YouTube, Instagram, X, TikTok and other websites, including many embedded players. The small, translucent controls appear on hover and disappear when you leave. Keyboard shortcuts respect typing fields; YouTube keeps its native transport shortcuts outside the RealTime controls. YOUR SETTINGS Choose a preferred speed and skip interval globally. Customize the current site, remember its playback speed, or switch the controls off there. Settings support light and dark mode. No account required. PRIVACY Video elements, page URLs, media metadata and playback interactions are processed in your browser to provide the controls and requested downloads. Preferences, including site exceptions, use Chrome storage and may sync through your Chrome account. No advertising, analytics or browsing history is sent to RealTime. Requested media comes directly from the relevant website or its media servers. Read the privacy policy for details. COMPATIBILITY Some players, protected streams and site restrictions limit playback controls, picture-in-picture or downloads. Downloads are not guaranteed for every video. Use downloads only where you have permission. Above a browser's native playback-rate limit, very fast playback is approximated through seeking and may skip content or audio.
