Summarize pages, generate ideas, and extract research insights with OpenAI, OpenRouter, or Claude (Anthropic). AI Research Assistant helps you work faster on the open web by turning page content into summaries, ideas, and structured research notes—using your own AI provider accounts. What it does: * Summarize long articles and pages into clear, readable takeaways. * Ideas & content suggests angles, outlines, talking points, and draft material based on what you are reading. * Key insights pulls out main themes, implied questions, and practical next steps for deeper research. How it uses the page: If you select text, the extension uses your selection. If you do not select anything, it uses visible text from the page (normal reading content, not hidden UI). AI API providers you can use: - OpenAI (Chat Completions–compatible models you configure). - OpenRouter with model selection (load the model list from OpenRouter and pick the one you want). - Claude via the official Anthropic API (not a third-party wrapper). Privacy and your keys You enter API keys in extension options. They are stored locally in your browser (Chrome storage), not on external servers. Requests go directly from your browser to OpenAI, OpenRouter, or Anthropic, depending on what you choose. Optional key validation sends a minimal test request so you know the key works before you rely on it. You can set a simple monthly token budget in the options page as a local reminder (counts are based on usage fields returned by the API when available). Who it is for Students, analysts, founders, and anyone who reads a lot online and wants quick summaries and structured follow-ups without copying text into a separate app. About TecAdRise Built by TecAdRise.
