What it does: - Reads the URL of the active tab when you click the extension. - Normalizes that page URL. - Builds the UnlockComments thread URL. - Lets you open the thread in the same tab, open in a new tab, or copy the thread link. What it does not do: - No background tracking. - No browsing history sync. - No account login. - No ads. Permission used: - activeTab: used only after you click the extension, so it can read the current tab URL and generate the thread link.
