Close every discarded (sleeping) tab in one click. Live count badge in the toolbar. No data collected, no network access. OneClear does exactly one thing: it closes every "sleeping" tab in your browser with a single click. WHAT IS A SLEEPING TAB? To free up memory, Chrome unloads tabs you haven't used for a while. The tab stays in your tab strip, but its content is dropped from memory; Chrome marks it "discarded". It looks like a normal tab, yet it is not loaded. Because they are practically invisible, they pile up: after a long work session you can easily end up with 20, 30 or 50 of them quietly cluttering your window. Closing them by hand, one X at a time, is slow and easy to put off. That is the entire job of OneClear. Click the toolbar icon, press one button, and every sleeping tab in every window is gone. Your tab strip is clean again, and the tabs you are actually using are untouched. WHAT YOU GET - One-click cleanup: closes all sleeping tabs across all windows at once - A live count on the toolbar icon, so you always know how many are waiting - A keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+D by default, customizable at chrome://extensions/shortcuts) - Pinned tabs included - they get discarded too - A safe, repeatable action: when there is nothing to close, the button is simply disabled - Closed a tab by accident? Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + T brings it back WHY YOU SHOULD INSTALL IT OneClear is not a tab manager. There is no dashboard, no account, nothing to configure, and it will never touch the tabs you are working with. It removes one specific, recurring annoyance: a tab strip full of sleeping tabs you are never going back to. PRIVACY BY DESIGN - No network requests. The extension has no host permissions and cannot contact any server. - No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no accounts. - Nothing is read from your tabs except whether they are discarded: no URLs, no titles, no page content. - The only stored value is the extension's own settings flag, kept locally in your browser. PERMISSIONS - storage - remembers the extension's own setting. Nothing else. Free, single-purpose, and small enough to review in one sitting.
